The U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) released a new standard, Subpart CC - Cranes and Derricks in Construction. State Plans must issue job safety and health standards that are "at least as effective as" comparable federal standards within 6 months of federal issuance.|
MNOSHA will adopt this new Federal Crane Standard using a required procedure of reviews and comments. The target date for adoption is February 9, 2011.
This seminar will review and compare Minnesota's current crane standard with the changes that will be required when implementation of this new Federal Crane Standard is adopted and enforced.
