OSHA #503 - Update for General Industry Outreach Trainers

This course is designed for private sector personnel who have completed the OSHA 501 Trainer Course in Occupational Safety and Health Standards for General Industry and who are active trainers in the outreach program. It provides an update on OSHA general industry standards and OSHA policies. Outreach trainers are required to attend this course at least once every four years to maintain their trainer status.

Terry S. Larson, GSP is a lifelong resident of Minnesota. He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety from Waldorf University. Prior to coming to the Minnesota Safety Council, Terry worked in the general industry field as well as the Minnesota Army National Guard. In these roles he helped to reduce the risk of injury and illness for workers. Terry’s passion lies in collaborating across boundaries to find common ground in delivering safety education and training programs to create the safest possible work area.
