Introduction to Occupational Safety

Take this course if you are newly responsible for company injury and illness prevention programs, a supervisor, or a member of your safety committee. (It's also a great refresher session if you're an experienced safety manager!) Learn the basics in safety management, AWAIR, safety committees, communications, training, inspections, ergonomics, incident investigation, hazard identification and more! This course is part of the Minnesota Safety Council and Minnesota OSHA Basic Workplace Safety Certificate.

Jan Fedora has worked with the Minnesota Safety Council for over 20 years as an Occupational Safety and Health Consultant. She has also served on the Panel of Advisors, Governor’s Awards Committee, taught at the Minnesota Safety & Health Conference, and conducted training with companies throughout Minnesota on OSHA standards, ergonomics, bloodborne pathogens, management skills, and HR issues, among others. Jan has a business degree from Augsburg College and a Secondary Teaching Certificate from Dakota County Technical College.
