Introduction to Occupational Health

Do you have part- or full-time safety and health responsibilities? If you do, this course is for you! Review basic occupational health principles including RTK/GHS, bloodborne pathogens, heat/cold stress, hearing conservation, PPE, and hazard recognition, evaluation and control. This course is part of the Minnesota Safety Council and Minnesota OSHA Basic Workplace Safety Certificate.

Jan Fedora has worked with the Minnesota Safety Council for over 20 years as an Occupational Safety and Health Consultant. She has also served on the Panel of Advisors, Governor’s Awards Committee, taught at the Minnesota Safety & Health Conference, and conducted training with companies throughout Minnesota on OSHA standards, ergonomics, bloodborne pathogens, management skills, and HR issues, among others. Jan has a business degree from Augsburg College and a Secondary Teaching Certificate from Dakota County Technical College.
